In the mid-1990's, New York radio station WKCR 89.9 FM had its signal hijacked by an unknown source. Somebody who happened to be taping off the radio managed to capture the broadcast as it was interrupted. The sounds that followed are the backbone of CANDY FROM BEYOND.

Inspired both by the WKCR story and a recent diversion into analog horror, this third release in the "Candy Series" finds Monster Zero delving further down into the depths of sonic landscapes, drones, disturbing audio samples, loops, and field recordings from dark forgotten places. At times equally hypnotic and disturbing.

But this isn't a Halloween tape by any stretch. This is nighttime driving music... a soundtrack for lonely roads... music to get lost to.

Note: The album is intended to be listened to as one solid piece (throughout two tracks), however, the digital version of CANDY FROM BEYOND contains the tracks split up into 12 individual tracks (or, "stations") for easier listening and the ability to rejoin effortlessly after a break.

The full, uninterrupted version appears on Tracks 1 & 2.
