In his first new release since December 2021, Monster Zero continues further down the rabbit hole of degradation of tape and sound. Recorded in parts over the last few months, Everyone Is Living With A Gun To Their Head relies less on chaotic interlude (of which there are still plenty) and more on the orchestration and arrangement of overlapping multiple loops to create tension with constant adjustment and processing. The use of a number of speed modified tape players, delays, and reverbs, along with the usual accompaniment of electronics, effects, and distorted vocals, helped create what Mike Vincent believes is another step forward in the evolution of Monster Zero.

Originally intended to consist solely of the two-part Wax And Wane, the EP now includes 6 fully realized tracks, and clocks in at just over 60 minutes.
